WEBSITE LAUNCH QA CHECKLIST

A final pre-publish review for every IP Marketing Solutions website.

Use this checklist to review every Duda website before publishing. It helps ensure the site looks great, works correctly, follows best practices, and is ready for search engines and real visitors. Work through each section, fix any issues you find, and complete a final pass before the site is published or submitted for approval.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Always do your final proof from a Duda preview link (not the editor). Make sure all client requested changes are complete and review this checklist carefully, addressing any issues across all devices before publishing.

HOW TO USE THIS CHECKLIST

Review the site methodically, section by section. Address any issues you find as you go. Once you have worked through the entire checklist, do a final pass to confirm everything is complete before publishing.

• Work from a Duda preview link
• Check each section and fix issues as you find them
• Complete a final review after all sections are checked
• Do not publish until every required item is complete

1

PROOF EVERY SCREEN SIZE

Check how the site looks and functions at every screen size in Duda and in a real browser. Layouts, spacing and elements can behave differently across devices.

• Review in Duda's larger desktop view (full screen the desktop view on your monitor)
• Review in Duda's smaller desktop view (use the three screen preview and look through the small monitor view)
• Review in Duda's tablet view
• Review in Duda's mobile view
• Manually shrink your browser window to test in-between sizes
• Lastly, test the site on an actual phone (it will display differently than the mobile view)

2

TEST THE LIVE MOBILE EXPERIENCE

Use the preview link on a physical phone to confirm the real world experience. Make sure the site is easy-to-use, loads well and all key features work as expected.

• Open the preview link on an actual mobile device
• Test the mobile menu and navigation
• Check that all tap targets work and are easy to use
• Fill out a form and submit a test entry
• Test click-to-call phone numbers and click-to-email links
• Scroll through the entire site and check for any layout or content issues

3

CHECK EVERY PAGE

Review every page on the site to make sure content is complete, accurate and on brand. Look for spelling errors, outdated information or placeholder content.

• Open and review every page on the site
• Check page names and URLs (if applicable)
• Look for spelling and grammar errors
• Confirm headings, content and whitespace look intentional and consistent
• Make sure images are high-quality and relevant
• Verify the overall design and content align with IP Marketing Solutions brand standards

4

VERIFY NAVIGATION & LINKS

Make sure all navigation menus, buttons and links work correctly and go to the right place.

• Click every item in the main navigation menu
• Click all buttons and text links throughout the site
• Check footer links (including privacy policy, terms, etc.)
• Confirm all links go to the correct page or external site
• Make sure external links open in a new window
• Look for and fix any broken links

5

CONFIRM CONTACT PATHWAYS

Ensure all ways for a visitor to get in touch are working properly.

• Click-to-call phone numbers work on mobile
• Click-to-email email addresses open a new email
• All contact forms work and submit correctly
• Form submissions go to the correct email address
• Thank you page or success message appears when required
• Any additional contact methods (e.g. scheduling links) work properly

6

REVIEW PAGE SEO SETTINGS

Every page needs proper SEO settings to help it rank in search engines.

• Each page has a unique and accurate meta title
• Each page has a compelling meta description
• Page URL/slug is correct and matches pre-existing pages (if rebuilding a client's site)
• Correct page indexing setting (index or no index; no index means search engines will NOT crawl that page)
• Headings (H1, H2, etc.) are used properly and describe the page content
• No duplicate meta titles or descriptions

7

CHECK SCHEMA & SEARCH DETAILS

Required schema should be added and accurate. This helps search engines better understand the site.

• Required schema is present (e.g. Local Business, Organization, FAQ, etc.)
• Business name, address, phone number and other details are accurate
• There are no schema errors in Duda's settings
• Review additional schema where relevant (e.g. Service, Article, etc.)

8

ADD OPEN GRAPH IMAGES

Add a page-level social share image so the site looks great when shared on social media, text or email.

• Each important page has an Open Graph image set
• Images are high quality and on brand
• The image looks good in social previews (no awkward cropping, you can find templates for favicons, mobile device icons, and Open Graphs at Box\Digital Clients\IP Marketing Solutions\Website\SEO Templates)
• No default or placeholder images remain

9

RUN DUDA'S SITE AUDIT

Use Duda's Optimization Center and Site Audit to catch any remaining issues related to SEO, performance and accessibility.

• Run the full Site Audit in Duda's Optimization Center
• Review and address SEO and AEO recommendations
• Check for missing or duplicate metadata
• Fix any image alt text issues
• Review and resolve any link or technical issues
• Aim for a clean audit or address all critical items

10

PREVIEW BEFORE PUBLISHING

Do one final comparison of the desktop and mobile preview to make sure everything looks right and all client changes have been fully implemented.

• Review the full site again on desktop and mobile
• Confirm all client requested changes are complete
• Check for any new issues introduced during edits
• Make sure the site looks polished and ready for live visitors

11

FINAL LAUNCH REVIEW

Confirm all required items are complete and the site is ready to go live.

• All items in this checklist are complete
• No test content, placeholder text or draft pages remain (publicly viewable)
• All forms and integrations are working
• The site meets IP Marketing Solutions quality standard
• Publish the site or submit for final approval, depending on where you are in the process
